The Taylormade™ Tipping Bin is an electrical/hydraulic tipping receival system. The bin tips fruit onto an elevated auger which discharges into a crusher or destemmer below. An elevated auger design has an number of advantages over conventional bins or pits. The unit operates on ground level and is loaded from the front or side. Once loaded the operator has full control over the rate of tipping and auger speed. This enables constant and regulated feed of grapes into the crusher. With the addition of certified load cells the bin doubles as a weighing system ensuring the quick and accurate processing of batch loads.
